Comments from our 2016 graduates:

Kathleen Anthony“The greatest thing I have received from the training is the recognition that yoga is so encompassing, that it can affect every aspect of my life. There is so much more to explore and the study will become a lifelong practice.”

Josh Spence“One of the best parts of teacher training for me was gaining the confidence to speak and teach to a group.”

Crispina Han“Yoga teacher training deepened my own yoga practice and helped me understand Yoga philosophy. I especially appreciated the integrity and quality of my Yoga Sol teachers and the caring friendliness of my fellow students.”

Sue Davidson“The biggest thing I learned in teacher training is that practicing yoga consistently does create a sense of inner peace to the mind, but even better is that practicing yoga within a community provides a sense of belonging that is nourishing to the heart.”

Caroline Davies“The most beautiful experience for me has been the feeling of community here and willingness from teachers and peers to share knowledge and support of one another. Everyone has been gracious and loving, patient and kind. I am truly grateful and blessed to have had this experience.”

Sumeer Chadha“The biggest thing I am learning in teacher training is how to make compromises in personal commitments and attitudes to differences in thought. I have learned that while everyone has different ways of learning …we all learn in different ways and rates that are expressed and rehearsed in a multitude of unique, intersecting ways.”

Tuffy McDonald“I learned that there is so much to learn! The best part is learning with a group of people that are passionate about the same thing!”

Kayla Arabia“The biggest thing I learned in teacher training is that I will never stop learning. Becoming a teacher in my community means that I will forever be a student of my community.”

Valerie Chavez“The most important part I took away from teacher training is sharing in the beauty of each person’s individual unique practice. No one has the same teaching voice and I find that so refreshing and exciting as a future teacher.”
